Panama City Beach splits two ways: Pier Park, the shopping-and-dining end of Front Beach Road with the beach bars and oyster rooms — or the Front Beach strip itself, the Gulf-side road of tequila bars, saloons, and game-day specials. Same sand, different night. Here is how their happy hours compare.
Pier Park: the retail-and-dining end
Salty Sue’s (17501 Panama City Beach Parkway) is the priced anchor: Full Bar Happy Hour Specials 3 to 6pm (closed Sunday) with $4 wine, 2-for-1 well and call drinks, 1 lb smoked wings $9.99, 16oz specialty drinks $9, and an Old Fashioned at $10. Around it sit window-only rooms: Pompano Joe’s (16202 Front Beach Road, beachside at Pier Park) posts Happy Hour 2pm–5pm daily with no dollar amounts on the page, and Dusty’s Oyster Bar (16450 Front Beach Road) posts daily 2pm–6pm naming a special price on a dozen raw oysters and pitchers — but adds that specific prices can vary, so no dollars are copied here. Treat both as clock-only stops and ask the bar for the day’s price.
Front Beach: the Gulf-side strip
The strip runs longer hours and cheaper rails. The Salty Goat Saloon (13006 Front Beach Road) posts $1 off all beers and $3 well drinks every day 4pm–7pm, with Sunday extended 11am–7pm. El Rodeo Front Beach (10908 Front Beach Road) posts Happy Hour every day 2pm–7pm without happy-hour dollar amounts — but Saturday and Sunday game copy prints $5 draft beer pitchers and $2 off appetizers. Barefoot on the Beach (11073 Front Beach Road) posts 3pm–6pm daily on the group’s house page, also without dollar amounts. Front Beach is the district for long afternoons: the windows overlap from 2 to 7, and Sunday is covered.
